TOP JR. SCHOOL STUDENTS OF 2018/2019
Your first year of high school is always interesting. Adjusting to a new environment and workload can be difficult. Students are still coming to terms with their identities and where they fit into the high school social hierarchy. It’s at this grade where students are most active in clubs and groups ranging from Women of Power and High Potential to Track and Field. Nevertheless, the academically persistent students made their marks and produced amazing grades. There were 233 students enrolled in 7th Grade for the 2018-2019 school year. Here is a list of the students who excelled academically and placed in the top 10.
A special congratulations goes out to Ms. J'Quelah Callwood. The Top student of 7th grade with an exemplary GPA of 96.18.
Who is J'Quelah Callwood?
This diligent ESHS student is no short of amazing, at just 12 years old, she has managed to excel
academically and push boundaries despite the situation. Ms. Callwood is originally from Cane
Garden Bay and is the proud daughter of Jason and Maria Callwood.
Having previously attended the Alexandrina Maduro Primary School, J'Quelah has taken a liking to
Math, Science and French. Ms. Callwood has a passion for design and creativity as she aspires to be
a professional Fashion designer. In her spare time, she enjoys designing, craft making, drawing,
singing, dancing and playing with her pet puppy. It comes to no surprise that J'Quelah's role model is
none other than local fashion designer, Kristin Fraser, founder of Treflé designs.
J'Quelah experienced her dream when she had the great opportunity of designing a resort wear for
Tréfle launch and fashion show of "A Girl called Rose"
She is creative, diligent and intelligent. Congrats to Ms. J'Quelah Callwood!
There were 245 students enrolled in 8th grade for the 2018 to 2019 school year. The 8th grade class presented a very skilled and diverse student body, with students participating in a variety of extra curricular activities including Track and Field, ESHS Concert Band and Choir. We pay special tribute to our number one student Aenya Meade; a name we are already familiar with. She was our representative for the Spelling Bee Finals.
Who is Aenya Meade?
Aenya Meade is a 14 year old 8th grader from Fahie’s Estate. She is the daughter of Irvin and Koren
Meade and previously graduated from the St. Georges Primary School. She enjoys reading, baking,
cooking, listening to music and learning new languages. Purple is her favorite color and she enjoys
eating Lasagna and Alfredo. Her favorite subjects are Mathematics, Music and Science and she
aspires to be an Orthopedist or a Forensic Pathologist. Aenya says that her parents are her biggest role model.

There were 220 students enrolled in 9th Grade for the 2018 - 2019 school year. This student population took part in a wide array of Extra Curricular activities from ESHS concert band to Track and Field. Each child is unique and bares different talents. Today, we celebrate the students who have worked extremely hard and excelled academically. Here is a list of the top 10 students of Grade 9. Who is Caliyah Charles?
Ms. Charles is an exceptional 14 year old student at the Elmore Stoutt High School. She loves
Geography and previously attended the Willard Wheatley Primary School aka the Home of the
Wolves. Caliyah resides in Greenland with her parents Marlon and Enid-Penn Charles.
Though her career choice is undecided at the moment, she has her passions, likes and dislikes. Ms. Charles enjoys playing games, watching movies, going to the beach, singing and playing with her adorable pet rabbit. Her favorite color is black and Shrimp is her favorite food.
This 9th Grader is determined and has great potential to be widely successful at whatever she chooses to pursue. All the best Caliyah!
